With my girlfriend living in another city, I wanted to send flowers that said something, that catered to her taste; the half dozen red roses were perfect, and made her Valentine's Day great without me being there. They were subtle enough that she was able to appreciate the bouquet as a whole. She appreciated it, and was very surprised.
